Dr. Vaibhav Arunrao Gorde is a Specialist Urologist at Medcare Hospital Sharjah. He completed his MBBS from Pune in India and an MS in General Surgery from New Delhi. He is a Diplomate of the National Board in Urology from New Delhi, India and holds a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from France. Dr. Gorde is a life member of the West-Zone Urological Society of India chapter. He is a member of the Emirates Medical Association (EMA) and the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI).
After completing his education, Dr. Gorde spent some time working at various hospitals in India as a Specialist Urologist before relocating to the UAE. Notable among the hospitals where he worked as a Specialist Urologist have been the Ahalia Hospital in Abu Dhabi and Burjeel Hospital in Sharjah. He is skilled in the treatment of urinary stone diseases, performing endoscopic surgeries- PCNL, laser surgeries, cystoscopy, ESWL (Shock wave treatment for stone diseases) and retrograde intrarenal surgeries (RIRS) for difficult renal stones.
Dr. Gorde is proficient at treating benign, non-cancerous prostate enlargement with minimally invasive prostate surgery (UroLift, REZUM, Holep), endoscopic surgeries like TURP, laparoscopic procedures and open surgeries.
