Dubai, UAE – UAE’s largest value-based healthcare chain, Right Health, stepped forward to support stranded Indian tourists in the UAE during the recent challenging situation by providing healthcare assistance and facilitating their safe return to India.
Under the guidance of Dr. Sanjay Paithankar, the Right Health team played a key role in assisting 188 tourists to travel back to India through two chartered flights arranged by Shri. Eknath Shinde, the Deputy Chief Minister of the Indian state of Maharashtra.
During their stay in Dubai, the stranded tourists were provided free accommodation and meals at Grand Astoria Hotel, generously supported by the hotel’s owner Mr. Prakash Lulla.
As part of its humanitarian initiative, Right Health conducted health check-up screenings and medical support for more than 1,000 tourists, ensuring that those in need received timely medical attention. The healthcare team also distributed free medicines to hundreds of individuals during this period.
In addition to the chartered flights, more than 2,000 stranded individuals were assisted in returning to India through various airlines with the coordination and support of Mr. Sachin Nene.
Dr. Sanjay Paithankar, Board Member of Right Health, commented on the initiative: “At Right Health, we believe healthcare goes beyond clinics and hospitals. During challenging times, it becomes our responsibility to stand with the community and extend support wherever possible. We are grateful to all partners and community leaders who came together to ensure stranded tourists received medical care, accommodation, and safe passage back to their families in India. Such collective efforts truly reflect the spirit of humanity and compassion.”
This collaborative effort demonstrates the strength of community partnership and humanitarian action, bringing together healthcare providers, government representatives, hospitality partners, and volunteers to support those in need.
